Luminant skin and lemon juice??

2 Questions here:

What would be the best thing for more luminant skin for your body and face?

Lotions? Certain body washes?

For face, I guess im talking more of makeup, but suggestions for that would be good too.

Anything that isnt expensive.

And my second question is, Ive been hearing that lemon juice helps get rid of freckles?

I have a couple of small freckles on my stomach (im not sure if its from sun, or just there to be there), but I Hate it! I dont even want to show my stomach sometimes. So does it really help? Other suggestions?

Luminant skin and lemon juice??
Try lotions with "shimmer" or bronzer in them. They have some by the Jergens brand. I don't know the name but its cheap @ Wal-Mart. As for your face they sell skin brighteners some by the Revlon brand.
Reply:The best thing for "luminant" skin is a healthy lifestyle. Eat more fruits and vegetables, drink plenty of fresh water, get lots of exercise, get enough sleep. Yes, lemon juice will fade freckles. I think the word you're looking for is "luminous".

Skin graft???

Mrs. Gaucher received second degree burns on her abdomen when she dropped a kettle of boiling water. She asked the clinic physician (worriedly) if she would have to have a skin graft. What do you think he told her?

Skin graft???
Is this a joke or riddle?

I imagine the clinic said no, she wouldn't have to have a skin graft, since 2nd degree burns heal ok on their own.

But that depends on how much they like money and doing unnecessary treatments in order to make more.

I did have skin grafts on part of my 2nd degree burns, but the part of my leg that DIDN'T have skin grafts eventually healed on its own to look just perfect, while the part that had grafts is forever scarred.
Reply:No. Not if the burn heals correctly and without complications. Usually only 3rd degree burns require grafts.
Reply:Normally 2nd degree burns will heal up just fine and will not require a skin graft.

Ja.

My skin is ripping.....?

.......or at least it feels like it. with my first son I carried him really low and never really had discomfort. With my second son (37wks preg) when I stand for more than like 15 min it feels as if the skin un my upper abdomen is going to tear.it feels almost like a knife is inside me about to cut through the top of my uterus. NORMAL???it seems as if he is pushing his butt out really hard cause there is this hard lump (I know it is him cause when i push on it, it moves) any suggestions would really help!

My skin is ripping.....?
This is normal...I am 39 weeks and he does it to me all the time...its amazing how far your skin can stretch!!!
Reply:Try drinking more water and don't sit upright. Try a recliner or pillow behind ur lower back and lean against it. I'm carrying really high and my whole belly feels like its going to rupture if i sit or stand up right for too long.
Reply:Your muscles are stretched to the limit. And now that you 37 weeks the baby has less and less room. you should try to stay off you feet as much as possible. but just think 37 weeks that almost done. congrats!!!!

if you feel like the pain in abnormal call you gyn.
Reply:You poor woman! Well at this point now stuff like this is unfortunately going to happen. Ask the doc what you can do. My ob gyn use to tell me that to get your baby to move away form where it is, try rubbing the opposite end. I don't know if that is possible for you, but worth a shot! Good Luck to you, Congratulation's!!
Reply:SEE YOUR OBGYN
Reply:Take a warm bath or submerge in a pool to alleviate the pressure.

And repeat to yourself that it will be over soon and you will have a beautiful life in your hands and for the rest of your life.
Reply:Yeah, i guess that goes along with the territory sorta speak. I know a company called " AVON" HAS REALLY GREAT LOTION THAT WORKS CAUSE I USE it too cause of my diabetes , it works really GREAT . IT'S CALLED "AVON MOSITURE THERAPY IN THE TEAR DROP PART OF THE TUBE IT'S THE WORD INTENSIVE , IT works very well , just put some on my arms and hands and after even one use you can tell a difference . the malls sell it and of course you may have to look up the number to avon and get someone to bring you some. I think the cost is anywhere between $4-7 dollars kinda high but works really good like i said . hope you will try it.

Skin care product caused reaction on face?

it's small, but red and dry. it was a new facial cleanser. i have sensitive skin. the ingredients in the products were salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. the area on my left cheek is small, red, and dry. today is the second day that i stopped using the products. in the mean time, i am putting aveeno ultra calming daily moisturizer on it to make it go away? is this gonna work? has anybody ever had a similar reaction to any face products like this? if so, what did you do or put on it to make it go away. I'm nervous, I just want it to go away. It doesn't itch, it's just red and dry. It was 3 products altogether, cleanser, toner, and than a benzoyl peroxide treatment lotion.

Skin care product caused reaction on face?
Benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid should never be used together. You need to choose one or the other. You may be having a reaction to one specific product or it may be a combination of all of them. Use just one product type at a time. If you want to use a cleanser, toner and acne medication together, choose them from the same product line. They are designed to be used together. I would maybe use a basic non-acne cleaner until the redness and dryness goes away. Try something gentle like Neutrogena or Cetephil. I would also use a moisturizer within the same line for now. Hope this helps.
Reply:I agree with Ms. Flawless. I had many adverse reactions to facial products with harsh chemicals. I went natural in my face products. I've tried Aubrey Organics with I loved, but am trying Burt's Bees now as I wanted a change. I have also discovered that my face is allergic to benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid dries out my face. So the natural products were a perfect match. Try products that are all paraben, fragrance, sodium laureth, and perservative free - these are the best for our sensitive skin. For red/ dry patches dab a cotten ball with organic sweet almond oil (found at health food stores for not that much money) and blot on the area over night. I wouldn't suggest doing that during the day as your face might look oily.

I cannot shave evryday because my skin is very sensitive. Can you help?

I am 21. I wish to shave everyday but I cannot. If I shave before the second or third day of a previous shave then I get itching and redness on the skin. I tried dry shaving with an electronic shaver and nowadays I shave using a razor. I want a solution or a good cream or good method of shaving that will give comfort to my skin, Please help.

I cannot shave evryday because my skin is very sensitive. Can you help?
First of all, you need to use a good lotion agter showering, secondly you could use a depilitory cream, though the smell is pretty bad, you could also wax. I wouldn't worry about it, if shaving hurts you don't do it every day.
Reply:I have the same problem. I have looked online to find some solutions. You can google 'how to stop razorburn' and it will give you some answers. The one that works for me is just to shave with conditioner rather then shaving cream. It helps keep the skin Moisturized. also if you soak your legs for about 10 - 15 minutes first, and no longer, then it can help your hair to cut easier and also helps prevent razorburn. if you soak your legs longer then it cause them to swell from the water, and can actually cause more irratation to your skin.
Reply:Try Nair hair removal lotion.
Reply:You need to use an Acid Balanced product for your skin, the natural pH of skin is Acidic, so you would need that product to also be the same..............

My Professional recommdation is Cleans Bar by Redken For Men, ( go to www.redkenformen.com to find a Redken Salon near you)

The active ingrediant is Allantoin, it is a skin/cell rejuvenator, and keeps the skin in "Balance"
Reply:if your body is alergetic means please avoid the shaving daily you can shave it for one week gape because if your body should be in good condition then only you can concentrate on any work otherwise you cant do it with satisfaction.
Reply:Look for a shaving cream for sensitive skin...also a razor.

You might try an electric razor.

Do NOT use any hair remover on your face!!!!!!

After shaving use a moisture cream for sensitive face.

Both skin incisions in C-section? ???? What should be done? iS THIS SAFE??

After a vertical incision of skin while doing my first c-section, Doctor advised me that they will do the incision horizontally in second C-section. I am very confursed. Because doing this there will be two incisions in my stomatch. Is this safe.

Both skin incisions in C-section? ???? What should be done? iS THIS SAFE??
The important question to ask is if the UTERINE incisions will match. The skin incision is not important. The skin incision may or may not match the uterine incision. So you will need to ask this of your doctor, and ask about the potential risks for future pregnancies.
Reply:From what I hear it's safer this way. It's a fresh incision so there's not all of the scar tissue to deal with. My friend had this done and everything turned out great.
Reply:Vertical incisions are usually done for quite preterm emergency cesareans or very obese women. Horizontal (aka low transverse) incisions are the most popular, done at the natural hair line, heal very well. The more important incision is the one on your uterus. Even though your skin incision was vertical, the uterine incision could have been horizontal, which is slightly safer in subsequent pregnancies. Even the incisional pain is less with the low transverse, less pressure from the organs inside the abdomen.
