Second time with allergic reaction to AJAX what can I do for the itch?

Im 5 months pregnant I have never had an allergic reaction to anything in my life this is the second time I barely had a dab of ajax on my skin and I broke out once again Im itching like crazy and it sucks because Im a compulsive scratcher when I itch so I pretty much scar the heck out my arms I been doin it since I was a kid its very hard for me to stop believe me I try very very very hard not to scratch but its itching so bad I just dont know what to do for the itch anymore I just use a good hypoallergenic body wash and dont bother put anything on it . does that sound like a good idea and why is it all of a sudden I have an allergic reaction is it possible just cause Im pregnant that made it easier for it to happen?

Second time with allergic reaction to AJAX what can I do for the itch?
Did you ever have an allergic reaction to AJAX prior to your pregnancy??? If so, you are simply allergic to the chemical composition of AJAX. If not, it may be due to your pregnancy, but I'm no doctor. For treatment, you may wanna ask a pharmacist on what is good for your rash. Benadryl does wonders, but tends to leave you drowsy.
Reply:Baby lotion has always helped me. even if you get a sunburn
Reply:You can put calamine lotion or hydrocortisone cream on it. You do need to get rid of all of those toxic chemicals and laundry products you are using especially with a baby coming. Most of those are registered pesticides. Switch to all natural products and take the old ones to a toxic waste recycling place in your area. Do not put the old products in the trash as they are considered toxic waste. Once you get rid of the old products thoroughly clean your house and clothes with the new products before the baby comes. If you are having that kind of a reaction just from your contact with it what do you think that would or is happening to you baby when he/she comes in contact with it or when you breathe the fumes in as you use the product? This is not an allergic reaction this is a chemical reaction you just had similar to a chemical burn. Think of you and your babies health and switch your products. Good Luck.
Reply:The best over the counter item for itching is 1% hydrocortisone cream. And, if you get it at Wal-Mart, it's like $2.
Reply:Yes you can develop allergies during pregnancy, they can disappear after the birth but sometimes they stay.

Bin all of the Ajax in your house and use a different product.

Reactions are unpredictable and different each time, it may just remain as a skin reaction or it could develop into a true allergy, swelling, wheezing, etc.

Does your skin turn a different color forever when you burn yourself?

I had a second degree burn and the scab is falling off revealing pink skin.

Does your skin turn a different color forever when you burn yourself?
the skin underneath the scar is pink because it is fresh, new skin. It won't stay this color forever - within a couple of weeks you may not even be able to tell the that you had a burn, however with the severity of your burn it's possible the area will heal with scar tissue, which is usually lighter in pigment than the rest of your skin (whiteish) and does not tan like normal skin. There are several things recommended for helping to heal scars, but I would not apply any lotions to the burn until it has fully healed as this can trap in heat and increase the damage. Once it's fully healed, try Vit E cream/oil or Mederma, these have been shown to decrease scarring.
Reply:Use vitamin E. It'll help you not have a scar.
Reply:Neosporene should have been put on the burn a day after you burned it. This would have helped with the healing. Pink colored skin is a good sign. That is new skin developing. Let the scab fall on it's own. After the scab falls, start with vitamin E oil for the next 6-8 months. This will help fade the scar. The scar will always be there, just less noticeable. Depending where it is, the sun will also help fade it through the years. Just be patient.

Anyone else pregnant having skin issue's ?

Hi everyone I just wanted to ask I'm a few days away from going into my second trimester. All of a sudden like literally over night my skin has gotten really rough and blotchy, and red and breaking out. I drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. I mean before I got pregnant I had few break outs here and there and the occasional dry skin patch but never this nasty red blotchy skin all over my face, oh and all of a sudden these really dark circles under my eyes and I'm getting enough sleep. Anyone else going through this or went through this? Anyway to help clear and even, and smooth my skin back?

Anyone else pregnant having skin issue's ?
yes yes yes i am 19 weeks and thats sounds just like me talking!! what i have is Savlon to dry out the pimples and this other cream that you apply to dry skin i dont know what it is called but they just gave it to me in the Pharmacy! just go ask them adn they will give you all the right products, make sure you tell them you are pregnant

as for the eyes if you are still feeling tired then after getting enough sleep you may need to take iron tablets but you have to see you LMC first
Reply:More hormones are kicking in. Wash your face more often and I use an apricot scrub to help with the break outs. You may also want to get a lotion specifically designed for your face that will not clog your pores but will moisturize.
Reply:ohhhh my goodness girl let me tell you what..I soo feel ya...I am pregnant with my 5th and ohh my god I am like having such the same issue...I wish I could tell ya what would help, but I havent really found anything. I know anti bacterial stuff they say helps.
Reply:I didn't have what you have, but my skin is now allergic to lotions after my pregnancy! I know that's a symptom of pregnancy, what you described. Sorry, it should go away after your pregnancy!
Reply:my step mom does so no worries!
Reply:use skin moisturizer, cocoa butter

Did they cut to much skin off my sons penis?

This is my second boy. When my first was circed they cut off the skin and tied a little plastic ring on on which fell off in about two weeks. The skin that was left touches and slightly covers the rim of the head.

My new son was circed by a certified RN midwife in the clinic and I was allowed in. After a nerve block she used a little steel cap over the head and pulled the skin through a hole in a clamp and trimmed it off. She said she had performed hundreds before so I felt confident with her and was curious how this was performed.

When she removed the clamp she just pushed the rest of the skin backwards on the shaft. She didnt put a little plastic ring on and said didn't need it. Now that he is almost a year old you can clearly see the cut line around middle of penis and about half an inch of very light colored skin from the cut line and the rim. There is not much slack at all with his circumcision unlike my older boy. Will this affect him as he grows? It just looks tight.

Did they cut to much skin off my sons penis?
Sadly, yes they took too much skin.

One important note "corrective surgery" is NOT A GOOD OPTION, too many of them just add more damage and scar tissue.

The foreskin normally provides the expansion room for the penis when it erects. Your son will have no room to grow. Most likely it will "borrow" skin from his scrotum to make up for some of the loss, this will give him a hairy shaft, that would not be too much of a problem for him but his mate may not like getting "bottle brushed" in her vagina.

He most likely will have tight feeling to painful erections when he is in his teens. His penis may become bent or distorted because the tight skin will restrict its growth.

Your son may benefit from foreskin restoration (non-surgical only) when he is older. There are tissue expansion methods many men have used to get back the room they need to be comfortable and some have even grown enough slack skin to form a sort of foreskin. This protects the glans and allows it to recover some of the lost sensitivity. He will have to do this on his own; the medical community doesn't seem to think that circumcision can cause any problems. Many men like me know that years of friction on our unprotected glans has left our penises with the same level of sensitivity as our elbows, not the best for intimate touch.

To the poster above: I am glad you think your son's circ looks so good; the most important thing about a boy's penis is that his mother thinks it looks nice, never mind if it will work the way it is supposed to when he tries to love his wife.
Reply:My son was circumcised this way and he hasn't had any problems. I have even been told by a couple of friends during diaper changes, that they really done a good circumcision on him. I think it looks good.
Reply:It actually sounds like quite a good circumcision, and no it won't effect him at all. You can't actually circumcise too much as the erections would stretch the skin to fit the penis. You can tell by those enourmously fat people that skin stretchs very easily.

Don't panic...it sounds like a normal circumcision!
Reply:yes his skin will get stretch marks as he grows and because of erections but if they did take too much his penis may be bent when erect and will not be as long as it should be because the tightness will tend to tether the penis and he might have a turkey neck under the penis which is when the scrotal skin gets pulled forward due to a aggressive circumcision.other than that he should be fine.you could have a scrotal skin graft done to fix this or when he gets older he could use foreskin restoration to get more skin.if he is having any of these problems they can be fixed with more surgery.
Reply:Sadly, yes they took too much skin.

There are several different ways that circumcisions are performed. It's up to the operator on the method used and how much of the foreskin they deem necessary to remove.

The clamp you describe is called a gomco clamp and is one of the most in use today. It does however remove the most amount of skin far back on the shaft and has been chosen as the device that produces the best results.

Your sons penis is normal even though it may look tighter, because you are used to seeing your other sons with a little too much skin left. Your youngest got the best circumcision and he will grow into it. It is perfectly normal.

Odd skin disease -- or reaction -- or spider bite???

I have had two breaking outs -- literally over night a large blister appears with a small cluster around it. The scar from the first one is about 1/2" diameter circle; I shaved it off in the shower, then 2 days later did the same thing and it went away. That was about 3 weeks ago.

A few days ago a second cluster appeared on the same arm, much lower. I'm planning to take this one to the doctor.

I have skin that is call icthyosis -- fish like and scaly; natural redhead with lots of freckles and super sensitive skin.

I thought the first one was a spider bite. I had no red marks indicating poison running up my arm, and the skin wasn't necrotic, so I ignored it. But now the second batch.

Do you know anything about something like this happening?

Odd skin disease -- or reaction -- or spider bite???
Hi Torit, I sent you a email I hope you get it, you answered my rash question yesterday about the antibiotic.

I think your rash, now that I read your question here is like mine too.

mine started with a spider bite, or so I thought, two little bites 1/3 inch apart, like fangs, on my lower inside leg, then it turned to round clear oozing itchy mess, and would get worse with skin to skin contact.

went to 4 doctors and was told ringworm, psoriasis, eczema, poison oak, dermatitisis, allergic reaction, stress... I have had biopsy and blood tests, to no availe. I hope this helps and you can write me at:

http://www.myspace.com/taradiddle

and let me know what you find out, good luck to you too!
Reply:I think taking it to a doctor is a good idea.

Could be an insect bite or another kind of allergic reaction. But the reaction is scary enough that you should get it checked out if you don't have a good idea what it is.

Good news is that it doesn't sound like anything serious or life-threatening, but you really need a doctor to tell you for sure.
Reply:For what it's worth - ichthyosis is rare - and whilst there's no special "treatment" - lubricants, emulsifiers, bath oils can help. Soap apparently makes the condition worse and should be avoided. You are obviously correct to get proper medical advice. I would have thought spider bites are extremely rare - and the likelihood it's your inherited icthyosis flaming up again.
Reply:I agree with you %26amp; Warren. Taking it to a doctor for competent medical evaluation is the most prudent thing to do.

Just a guess here: Perhaps you were scratching it in your sleep %26amp; scratched it so hard %26amp; long that you developed a blister (based on your skin sensitivity %26amp; a possible allergic reaction)? Check under your fingernails for loose/dead skin cells %26amp; that could reveal part of the problem. The unanswered question being what caused you to scratch so?

Best of luck in this %26amp; hope it turns out as something minor.
Reply:Don't panic but it might be time to look up key words... . . . . .'bed bugs' (Harvard Study). Use Google. Be sure to read it BEFORE yanking up the box spring (or you WILL be sorry you didn't). You're going to need the Kirby for this one.
Reply:Just go to a Dermatologist and they will probably do a biopsy on it. A spider bite is most likely the last thing it is but I guess its always a possibility.
Reply:do you have a white circle in the center? If so then what you have is ring worm.Do you have a dog? Ring worm can be passed to you by pets. If not then I'm really not sure what it is.
Reply:My oldest daughter has a skin condition similar to yours. Our family doc has it. Anyway, that was a small way of saying; I understand.

When my daughter was 5 she had the same thing happen, yes we went to the doctor, and it turned out to be shingles. Essentially shingles is the adult form of chicken pox.

Being that I am not a doctor I would suggest seeking a medical opinion.

Shingles look like spider bites, that's what I thought mine were when I got them, but alas no. So don't scratch, use Calamine or Benedryl if they itch, and make an appt.

Also, if they do itch, soaking in an Epson Salts bath may help.

Good luck =)
Reply:Sounds like Impetigo - where you had a small 'bite' pimple or something and it gets infected (crusty part)

You should just head to the MD because it won't go away

I'd keep it clean with alcohol or peroxide and apply a trace of antibiotic ointment until you get to the MD.

Good Luck.
Reply:I believe that you may also have a condition called Hidradenitis Supprativa.of re-occurring boils/ cysts/abscesses , that are often misdiagnosed as ingrown hairs, herpes, being unclean or over wieght and folliculitis. This is a newly diagnosed skin condition , but there is a lot of info out there. It shows up in people that have other health problems.... its worth a check out.

Here is a link :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidradeniti...

or the HS_USA page is ..

http://www.hs-usa.org/hidradenitis_suppu...

If this sounds like it might be you, READ it, PRINT it out, and TAKE it to your DOC.

Its better to try to start treatment soon, it can spread over the body if left untreated. These boils can become quite large and painful. Sometimes even lasting for weeks or months , do not attempt to POP them they can then tunnel under your skin and spread all over the body. Most common areas are armpits, groin, binkni line, inner legs, and intimate places and basically anywhere that sweats and rub against clothing. Stress is a big inducer.

There is a support group at MSN

http://groups.msn.com/HidradenitisSuppor...

This is also a link to a PDF of a study in Germany about HS and if it is genetic... I thought it was intresting :

and a yahoo one, and I am open for questions!

I have had this for 8 years, I was misdiagnosed for a LONG time, It was very embarrassing, painful and scary. I am just trying to help out so you don’t have to wait as long as I did.

Currently I have 5 , 2 next to each other on my right inner groin. 2 in my upper HAIR area, and 1 med sized on my butt on the panty line, and they do come every week or so. I find that certian foods, not having a regular showering regimen, wearing clothing that irratiates the area.. and STRESS usually are a precusor to getting one.

I also prefer to use NEXCARE bandages.. there are 2 kinds I like for comfort and stay put reasons..

the first is like a clear bandaid.... soft on the edges with a small area of bandage... helps with those buggers when they are on bikni line.. usually stay for me.. or occasionally on my inner thigh for those I like the foamy sponge like ones that are beige in color.. I think they are 3M.

Help! I want to have clear skin! Any advice???

I've never had bad skin until my junior year in high school. I'm a second semester senior now and I still have the bad skin! I know it's not due to stress because I'm barely doing any work in school. Most of my breakouts are on my cheeks and forehead. I get little bumps instead of ones that are big and red! I think they're blackheads but I don't know how to get rid of them. My skin becomes dry very easily and perscriptions don't help. Any advice would be MUCH appreciated.

Help! I want to have clear skin! Any advice???
Old remedies that worked for me--benzoyl peroxide was too drying and left my skin really red and irritated--were sulfur and recorsinol (sp?). An old sulfur cream still on the market is Acnomel. (Sulfur is slightly drying and an noninflammatory so you never get big, red pimples). Salicylic acid (which is great at dissolving blackheads) is usually with resorcinol. Almay makes a tube of cover-up with these ingredients in at least three shades. It really covers well, too. Good luck! I know how you feel!
Reply:Proactiv works wonders. definitely try it out if you're willing to pay for it.
Reply:Neutrogena (how ever you spell it) oil free acne wash or use Clean %26amp; Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment.....which can be found at Wal-Mart. Less than $10
Reply:blackheads and whiteheads only really go away if you pop them.

i agree proactive is great, and i use it with natures cure.
Reply:google apple cider vinegar and acne works great.... also try vitamin b5 google that for acne as well
Reply:im in esthtics and md formulations is gret for bumps used the face and body scub and a light moisturizer and go get extration at a spa

Reply:Heh,

Now, I wouldn't normally answer this type of question... however this past weekend my niece told me about something she does, that although sounds weird has amazing results. Give it a try... it can't hurt.

Pour a tablespoon of sugar into your palm, then add some Lemon juice, mix into paste, apply to face / hands, rub in.

It will feel rough (exfoliating) work in, until you feel quite sticky, then rinse off. Your skin will feel amazingly smooth (like a baby's butt) and it will be super clean.

How do i get rid of oily skin?

my skin gets soooooooooo oily during the day at school. I have to go to the bathroom and use clean and clear pads to remove it. They work, but I'm sick of running to the bathroom the second the bell rings. How can I make my skin not get so oily? I wash it every day, twice a day...in the morning before school and at night before bed. Please help! Thanks :-)

How do i get rid of oily skin?
I actually make a paste out of baking soda and water and scrub my face gently with it. Then I use my usual cleanser and moisturizer. It works really well, but don't forget to moisturize.
Reply:For the best results go to a dermatologists they can give good advice!!!!!!
Reply:use an oil free moisturizer and then or go to ur dermatolagist
Reply:You are probably using too much cleanser, make up, or a bad cleanser. Try a mineral based cleanser and don't put on too much.
Reply:so i agree with going to a dermatologist, but in the mean time if those clean and clear wipes are not working try papers (yes the kind you use to roll joints,) yes i know its a waste but they work AMAZING!!!
Reply:try not to wash your skin in HOT water cause it tend to open your pores or if you want

when you take a bath use hot water but before you end your bathing session wash your self with cold water to make your pores close

only if u have REALLY oily skin

works soo good if u do..u will not feel one bit of oil all day
Reply:An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film , that needs to be removed daily. For more details log to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/
Reply:Even oily skin needs a moisturizer, but choose a light, watery fluid; this will be enough for your skin. Allow the moisturizer to sink in well and then absorb the excess with a tissue to prevent shine.check out http://tipsfromruby-skincare.blogspot.co...

Belly ring pierced with too little skin :((?

hey i had my belly button pierced...this is the second time. I feel like they didnt grab enough skin when they pierced it and i feel like i cant wear heavy rings or it will rip out...am i just being paranoid or so i really be concerned? It really looks like its too little skin and the ring pulls it down even more. Is there anything that will somewhat close the hole b/c i think that will help it have a tighter hold on the ring...thank you!!!

Belly ring pierced with too little skin :((?
i have my belly pierced too, what you should do is not wear any heavy belly rings for now so the hole can get smaller %26amp; tighter. If you got it professionally done then they should know what they're doing, but if you're seriously concerned, go back and show them and ask if they could possibly repierce it for free after you let it close again. Say that it feels like it's going to rip off and you're worried. Don't take it out until you talk to them though , if they deny to do it again for you, just don;t wear anything heavy until the hole gets smaller. Mines is fine but my friends is somewhat how you're describing yours and she's wearing something lighter for the mean time and it is getting smaller.
Reply:um you should got o a nother piercing shop and have tem look at it and see what they say
Reply:iF YOUR REALLY CONCERNED GO TO A DIFFERENT PIECER AND ASK THEIR OPINION THEY WILL TELL YOU IF IT WAS DONE RIGHT IF NOT YOU MAY HAVE TO LET IT CLOSE AND REDO IT
Reply:go to where you got it pierced, and tell them that it is not done right that its hurting you and you cant wear any rings , tell them to give you your money back and go somewhere else and get it done

Constipation, gas & skin allergy?

First thing :- I have been suffering from Constipation since childhood. My age is 25 now. Around 6-7 years back, I got gas trouble and skin allergy problem. At that time it was little trouble. But now, it has increased very much. It makes rashes on my skin throughout the whole day, like when mosquito bites. Then it disappears within 1/2 or 1 hour. Again it will appear after 2-3 hours then will disappear within 1/2 hour or 1 hour until I take some medicine for allegy.

I don't understand is this food allergy or anything else. Also

Whenever I stick some bandage to my skin, and I remove it, it leaves big rashes.

Second thing :- My constipation problem is much less now because I m very cautious about my food and don't take dinner at night also. But I don't know why Gas occurs. It definitely happens in the morning when I take dinner at night. It pains in my left side stomach too much and makes sound from there, instead of passing through rectum. It is too embarassing.

Thanks

Constipation, gas %26amp; skin allergy?
aloe vera does relieve constipation. It is a very good fiber rich antoxidant. As such it helps in easing constipation. Aloe is good for a number of other ailments as well.Aloe Vera also contains aloin, which in small dosages acts as a natural laxative.

i recommend Arbomin-Plus(Namyang Aloe)!!!

I'm 5 weeks pregnant with my second child, why am I already showing?

I'm worried that I might be pregnant with twins. I'm 5'5" about 110lbs and this is my second pregnancy. I lost all my baby weight from the first pregnancy, still had very little extra skin, but I looked skinny. Now with my second one I'm already showing and it's not because I'm bloated, I can tell the difference. My pants don't fit me already. I did have a very easy first pregnancy, but this one is already kicking my butt big time. The fatigue, nausea, very very sore breast, everything, but vomiting. I didn't start experiencing this symptoms until my 3 month with my daughter and I didn't start showing until the 5th month. Could I be pregnant with twins??

I'm 5 weeks pregnant with my second child, why am I already showing?
You are probably pregnant with a dinosaur, be carefull
Reply:Maybe. But you might not be. Maybe your body just knows that you're pregnant again because you've experienced it before. My mom didnt start showing until her fourth month with my older sister. But with me she started showing in her 2nd month. And one of my coworkers had a very easy first pregnancy and her second one was hard. She was hanging over the toilet all the time (she doesnt have twins btw). See your doctor-s/he will be able to tell how many babies are in there.
Reply:My Mum actually has told me your second child will always be bigger than the first and you start showing a lot sooner than you did with your first child.
Reply:Every pregnancy is different.

With my second child, I was showing earlier. It is really because your abdomen muscles "remember" and start stretching earlier. I could tell sooner. as I could feel my uterus was hard and I also gained more weight with the second. You really can't compare pregnancies. Just as each child is different, so will your pregnancy be different.

Congratulations!
Reply:Each pregnancy is different, it's probably nothing to worry about. Apart from bloating which you say its not, it could also be from constipation if your bowel habits have changed.

Don't worry, no two are the same.
Reply:hey there.

with my first pregnancy i didnt start showing untill about 5mths.

with my second i showed at i would say about 10-12 weeks i got big alot quicker than with my first daughter.

i am now pregnant with my third baby and i showed at probably ablout 8-10 weeks, and i am now 28 weeks and my tummy has been measuring 4 weeks bigger, its because your body has done it before and has allready been streached its much easier on your body the second time.

good luck and congratz
Reply:the muscle is a bit loose
Reply:I am 5 weeks pregnant with my third and have the exact same symptoms. I am in maternity clothes. I went to the doctor yesterday and had a ultrasound and there was 2 sacs he said it wasn't for positive if it was twins or not, but now I'm not for sure. I go back to the doctor in 2 weeks to see for sure. Since you have the same symptoms. Just let me know how things go. Good luck!
Reply:Your muscles were stretched out with your first pregnancy, meaning that with your second you will show earlier. Probably NOT twins. Wait until your third pregnancy, you'll be in maternity pants by your 4th week! Best of luck, hon. What a blessing!
Reply:Do twins run in your family? help getting pregnant (drugs)? if answer to those are no then probably not carrying twins. Being this is your second child, you body already knows the changes needed. You also said your first was a girl, maybe this one is a boy..EACH PREGNANCY IS DIFFERENT, no two are alike. I know with my girls I did not show early, but with my boys I showed by 2-3 months.. No reason to stress out over it, just be happy and healthy.
Reply:The abdomen is used to being stretched and relaxed from pregnancy number 1 and the hormones it produced. The muscles have a 'memory'.

With pregnancy number 2, the hormones are also released and these muscles respond by relaxing, just as they learned to do the first time.

When they relax, the abdomen appears to be enlarging and 'showing' sooner.

CONGRATULATIONS!!
Reply:Could be do twins run in either of your families? Congratulations. an ultrasound will tell. you may just ghave a big baby... I showed early on my second. but my third was easier to hide.. go figure... i had hoped for twins it could be a blessing and a real hard time... lots of luck.....
Reply:I don't know if you are having twins, but it is not uncommon to show earlier the next time around, and remember every preg is different.
Reply:It is perfectly normal to start showing substantially earlier on your 2nd, 3rd, etc pregnancies because the uterus already has "learned" how to stretch to accomodate the pregnancy. Plus since you are small built, it makes it even more likely to start showing earlier. Twins is always a possibility, but I wouldn't assume you have twins because you are showing already and feeling sicker. Morning sickness not only varies in severity from person to person, but also pregnancy to pregnancy. So while you didn't get sick your first pregnancy, that doesn't mean that you wouldn't be in others.

Also, it's very normal for new expectant mothers to have the "I'm wondering if I'm having twins" thoughts - I did early on in my pregnancy, and all my friends that I know who have been pregnant thought that at some point also.

Good luck, and I hope you start feeling better.
Reply:I completely understand what you are going through. I am 7 weeks with my second and yes my pants no longer fit and my stomach is pouching already. Yes it is probably possible that it could be twins. But i do feel your pain. My breasts feel like fifty pound bags of wet sand. Heavy, sore....I cant stop throwing up or peeing. And i have heart burn that is really killing me. When i was pregnant with my son i started showing around three months. But i am in the same boat as you, I think i am having twins. Good luck.
Reply:...or maybe triplets!!!!!!!!ahhhhhhh
Reply:you show earlier with subsequent pregnancies because your body has already been through having a baby. each pregnancy is differnt no matter how many kids you have. what you may have gone through with your first you may not go through with this one. don't worry about having twins until your dr tells you you're having twins.
Reply:its a boy
Reply:when i pregnant with my twins i start showing at 7-8 weeks so i could be or maybe not, but if it is good luck!!!!!
Reply:Every pregnancy is different if you are concerned go see your obgyn.
Reply:Thats normal, im on my first and i am already showing , doctor says its normal and he told me not to worry about it

congrats on the baby ,
Reply:It is possible they are twins but it can still be a possibility that you may just feel bloated. I am currently 12 weeks pregnant and the doctor told me to cut down my food intake because I was increasing 2 kilos a week ever since my 4th week. I had a 3D (forgot the term) and saw a tiny baby inside me during my 7th week. the doctor said my weight is due to my fatigue. I sleep a lot and eat a lot. And because I don't vomit and exercise, I gained too much.

Hope this helps you answer your query...
Reply:Are you good looking?
Reply:it could be twins. however, with my second child i showed earlier too. it's the way it is. every pregnacy is different. remember that. also, you could have more stress in your life...or you could be having a boy. the very sore breast is because your body knows to produce milk already because of your first pregnacy....with each pregnacy you are going to be even more tired...each one takes alot from your body. take your prenatals. this does wonders for your body. think positive and this will help ease the symptoms...rest...bland foods...like crackers...juice....broth...jello..so forth. also, not to scare you or anything...but studies have also shown that sometimes these symptoms can be a sign that you will miscarry...talk with your doctor and ease your worries girl. :)

good luck.
Reply:I have 3 kids and I know quite a bit about pregnancy. The first time your body is firm and you do not see much different but the second baby you see your body change so much plus you nausea, fatigue because, you have to feed the first baby and having 2 kids at the same time. Your body are working hard and the stress level is high. You need to rest more and allow your body to heal. You should check about your diet and then you can analyze your situation better. Your first kid you are exciting but, your second you are tired. I urge you to check with the doctor and have an ultra sound to make sure. The OBGYN will be able to tell. Good luck and I feel your pain. Please do not afraid to ask your friend a favored if you need it. Please prepare you first child to accept your new born because, the first kid is always jealous about the new born unless you prepare he or she.

Isn't it absurd to say that Obama only gets attention because of the color of his skin?

when for centuries, we have been refusing to take people seriously as potential leaders because of the color of their skin?

Obviously, Obama is not just a Black candidate.

Attention because of his skin color lasts about 5 seconds. If he had nothing to say, the attention would last no longer than that.

Isn't it absurd to say that Obama only gets attention because of the color of his skin?
If nothing else, he's a very intelligent man. We could use a guy like htat in the white house. I like him even though he's liberal, and that's saying a lot.
Reply:he is getting attention from the liberal media because he is black and he is a fresh face, he is nothing great, if he were white the attention would not be there
Reply:He is the leading Black candidate and the Black vote is really strong here in America. Don't discount the race card.
Reply:He doesn't have anything to say, and if he were White, the Press would ignore him like they are Edwards !
Reply:he looks like a Black Panther
Reply:Perhaps we need to fill a quota by electing a black president?
Reply:His nonstop media coverage is because of his skin color..

Obamas talking points and beliefs are no different then the other socialist candidates...But he gets more attention from the media doesn't he?
Reply:People who discuss his color or Hillary's gender do so to avoid discussing the real issues. They are afraid the cocamaime idas of the opposition to Obama and Clinton may be exposed for what they are and whoever wins the Democratic nomination will pull anothe Lyndon Johnson and win by a landslide bringing coat tail Democratic victories in both houses of Congress with them.
Reply:I wouldn't care if he was orange with purple spots, his politics stink.
Reply:OF COURSE Obama is getting attention because he's black! It's also because he's young, he's mild manored, and because the democrats DESPERATELY need a new face to lead the democratic party. Unfortunately he will play second fiddle to Hillary Clinton because right now a woman president is more of a liklihood than a black president. Which is why he will end up being her running mate.
Reply:Paris Hilton continues to get press even though she has nothing to say.

Nick Lachey is taken somewhat seriously as a singer because he is very good looking.

Black is hip in some circles. Being black is opening doors that otherwise would be shut. You can't honestly tell me that people aren't intrigued with Obama because he is black.
Reply:In the first place he is not just black he did have a white mother and who Care's what color he is if he can heal this country after 8 years of Bush we need some one who Care's about all the people not just the very very rich and how to keep them that way at any exp sen
Reply:No, it isn't absurd. It's correct. He has done absolutely zero. He gets attention because of the color of his skin and because the Democrats apparently believe that Kerry didn't look ENOUGH like Frankenstein's monster.
Reply:seems like the politcal arm of the White League, Aryan Nations and the KKK are the only ones making Senator Obama's race an issue.

Leave it to the GOP to drag out the race card every single time.

Is GREEN the Second most Dominant Eye Color in the AFRICAN race? How Come U Never See ASIANS with GREEN EYES?

since black folks have more melanin in their skin,

brown is the first dominant color , (then second comes green, from what i've heard and seen)

but asians (e.i-japanese,chinese)

who are lighter skin (less melanin)...

How come u never see asians with NATURAL green eyes? (NOT bi-racial, but an actual Asian excluding pakistani etc....because some black folks aren't bi-racial and they have green eyes)

* why i mentioned the MELANIN part, is cuz i read, the more melanin u have, the greater chance ur eyes will be dark (brown)

Green eyes are common with Africans who are along the coastal areas due to mixing etc. African Americans with green eyes have a white ancestor somewhere on the family tree.

Repair of Custom-made Snake-Skin Cowboy Boots?

While on vacation in New York City I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a pair of hand-made custom snake skin (cobra) cowboy boots at a very upscale second-hand store. The craftsmanship is excellent, they fit great and from my best estimate, the boots were likely made sometime in the 70s.

There is some slight wear to the snake skin in several small areas. Otherwise, the boots are in very good condition.

My questions are:

(1) Where can I go to have the boots repaired? The scales are pealing around the scuffs, and I don't want the damage to get any worse. Can snakeskin boots be repaired? What qualifications should I look for in a shoe repair shop?

(2) What are some care tips that I need to know in order to make a pair of cowboy boots last the rest of my life?

(3) Can I treat the boots with leather water-proofing spray, or is there a better way to protect the boots from the elements? Is it safe to use any treatment on the snake-skin portion?

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Repair of Custom-made Snake-Skin Cowboy Boots?
Two things that are the hardest on an exotics are dirt and drying out...They need to be kept clean, and I would do what I did on a pair of boas that I had. I cleaned them carefully (don't moisturize them yet) and used a little spray adhesive to glue the scales back down...hold them down with your fingers until you know they aren't going to curl back up...then use the spray conditioner just for that purpose, exotics conditioning...that is all you can really do and all that you really should do to the skins...just keep them clean and moisturized with the right stuff. I even used a thin point, magic marker after gluing and before conditioning to fill in the right colors where it looked like none of the scales were missing...they don't look half bad.
Reply:you need to find a leatherware company that will fix them or just a local shoe repair guy (hard to find though--think it's a dying art). i don't know that they can be fixed, but you need one of those old local guys that have been around forever.

good luck.
Reply:They will tare(sp?) REALLY easy if they are dry! You can get a boot spray for snake skin books. ONLY use the conditioner for snake skin boots. It is really hard to fix the snake skin if it is riped or peeling off. The key to keeping skinned boots is to keep the moisturized!! If I were you I would find some one who does snake boots not just a leather boot man. They are differnt in the fixing of the boot! If you are going to keep a pair of boots for life, you need to condition the boots once a month. If you wear them often then every few weeks. Not saddle soap or oil. The right condtioner for the type of boots that you own!
Reply:any good shoe/boot repair shop can work on your boots however scales peeling are usually not repairable but if you keep them well moisturised they will last a long time without coming off..mostly you will need them resoled and again a good shoe/boot repair shop will be good..dont treat your boots with a waterproof spray!use a good quality boot butter with a clear polish or one that matches the color of the boots keep them clean and they will last you a lifetime

Is there any way to get rid of the wrinkly skin on the belly after 2 pregnancies?

With my first I didn't have a problem but I got alot bigger with my second and have a little bit of wrinkly skin under my belly button. any suggestions?

Is there any way to get rid of the wrinkly skin on the belly after 2 pregnancies?
You can do breathing exercise for stomach. You can use cocobutter cream that will help reduce wrinkles.Any milky cream will help.
Reply:Abdominoplasty and good surgeon should do the trick.
Reply:sounds like stretch marks.. try putting lotion on it.. strivectin is a good brand. or anything with elastic in to help tighten the skin again... but if its stretch marks, u might need microdermabrasion or a chemical peel to rid of the top layer of the bad skin to help new, firm skin grow in.. or try a tummy tuck. if u have lots of weight in ur stomach, it will take all the fat away and the wrinkles

Help for really bad skin during pregnancy?

I am 14 weeks pregnant with number 2, and just like with the first my skin is out of control! I have got acne on almost every inch of my face, especially on my forehead and around my mouth. When not pregnant, I have great skin that rarely breaks out unless I sleep with my make-up on for a couple of nights. With my first child, my skin cleared up almost as soon as the second trimester started. At this point, I don't think it's going to get better any time soon! PLEASE RECOMMEND SOMETHING!!

*I have tried Pro Active while pregnant and before, and it does not affect my skin (when not pregnant, it actually caused me to break out when I forgot to use it a couple of times), so please don't suggest it!

Help for really bad skin during pregnancy?
ProActiv isn't recommended during pregnancy anyway...not because of what it does to your skin, but what is, or can be absorbed.

Gentle soap and water and remember to moisturize with a light moisturizer designed for oily skin. Dried out skin will not help acne. If you cleared up in second trimester last time, chances are pretty good it will happen again...hang in there!
Reply:I've had to deal with acne since being pregnant too (24 weeks now). I tried a couple things, but finally went with Cetaphil skin cleanser. It's very gentle, but my face still feels clean without dryness (my skin is usually very dry). I also use St Ives medicated apricot scrub-I've just always liked to exfoliate daily. I think this helped my skin calm down a bit. I do still have blemishes periodically (at least once every 1-2 weeks), but it doesn't cover my whole face and look so bad.
Reply:Wash your face in the morning and at night. Also make wear a minimal amount of make-up, which I know is hard since usually we try and cover up all the blemishes. Make sure the make-up that you are using is oil-free and try maybe for sensitive skin. And drink more water. But thats about it.
Reply:I wouldn't use proactive.

I would look in the natural section of your local drug or grocery store and buy soaps, shampoos and lotions that are natural. This may not completely solve your issue but it will keep from causing more flareups.

If that doesn't work it might be best to see a dermotologist I'm sure there are safe products or at least remedies to help you out.

Best of luck...
Reply:My face hardly ever broke out before I got pregnant, then with all the hormones and what not it got bad.. The only thing I have found that helps is Nutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser, and St Ives Apricot Scrub...I usually wash my face when I wake up, in the shower, and before I go to bed. I don't wear a lot of make up but I have heard that if you wear make up trying i.d. bareMinerals, is a good choice especially while pregnant because it is oil free and even safe enough to sleep in.

What is folded skin detection in a Mammogram?

Recently my wife (40 years old) had a mammogram and they are going to give her a second reading because of the detection of "folded skin" in her right breast. What is folded sin?

What is folded skin detection in a Mammogram?
This simply means that when the breast was compressed, there was a fold in the skin. Mammographers should smooth out folds as the compression plate starts applying pressure on the breast. A fold of skin on the mammogram can hide pathology, so the radiologist just wants a better picture. It does not indicate anything is wrong.

I just got a prescription for Hydroquinone 4%. which is a skin bleach.?

I just asked my GP if I could try it as I've had not success with the 2% over the counter. My concern is that it will make my pigmentation age spots darker??? Has anyone had any luck with hydroquinone. I have very fair skin with age spots. This is my second night of putting a thin layer on.

Thanks.

I think some high priced skin care products has it in it like Obagi.....

What does anyone think of this.

thanks

I just got a prescription for Hydroquinone 4%. which is a skin bleach.?
Make sure you hydrate your skin with lotion and wear sun block every day even when you are not on the sun.

Use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry -Touch SPF 55 non greasy, won't clog your pores and is gentle enough for sensitive skin. Make sure it contains 3% Avenzone . It cost between $7.00 - $14.00 and it comes in 3oz or 6 oz. If you don't your pigmentation will come back stronger. Since your skin will be unprotected. If you can't find this try finding something similar. Also drink more vitamin C no more than 1,000 mil per day.

Wound vac and skin graft?

Ok so I currently have a wound vac on my shin. I have about a six inch long by 2 1/2 inch wide wound on my shin that is pretty deep. I am suppose to have surgery tomorrow to close the wound with a skin graft. My parents have cancelled the surgery so I can get a second opinion (even though I am almost 20 years old) what is this second opinion for? I really wanna have the skin graft done. Will they not ever do a skin graft?

Wound vac and skin graft?
I'm not quite sure what your parents might be thinking. Usually a vac is put on a wound to drain out infection before closing it. Perhaps your parents aren't convinced that the infection has cleared up yet?

Your best bet would be to ask your parents directly as to why they want a second opinion. They have a reason for it I'm sure, which by rights they should share with you.

Why does my skin do this?

I'm mixed with Irish, Native American, and African-American. So my skin complextion can be compared best probably to a Hispanic person. If I touch skin on my hand or arm, my skin will turn yellow ( a bit darker than the color of a potato chip) for a few seconds and then the red and brown pigments fade back in. If someone where to grab my arm, it would leave the skin yellow for a few seconds then it would fade back to its regular color. Why?

Why does my skin do this?
That's not caused by your genetic origins. When you apply pressure on a certain part of your skin, you remove blood from that area so the skin gets brighter for a few moments. If that effect lasts for a while It can be a symptom of poor circulation...

Skin Whitening.?

Let me tell you something. Whenever I get a tan, my skin STAYS tan. Recently, there's this big swimming competion which I took part in. [Won second place out of 10 btw. WHOOT.] My skin looks ROASTED. I swear. Not tan. Tan is a pleasant mix of brown caramel colors. Mine is just brown and black. Ew right? How can I get my skin to look whiter fast? I've been using lotions but it doesn't seem to work. I feel like I have to wait a month before it gets a slight shade whiter. Plus I don't like to use creams because I have sensitive skin so even if I get my arms and legs lighter my face will still be the same. How can I get my face lighter?

And get this. When I use sunblock I get DARKER. The professional swimmers I've worked with shared with me that they don't use sunblock. They said it prevents sunburns, not skin darkening. True enough, when I didn't use it, my skin didn't get as dark. Sheesh. What to do what to do?

Skin Whitening.?
Look for Ponds or Nivea whitening products in your stores, they are effective. Look for any of the following proven effective whitening ingredients: licorice, arbutin, vit. C, retinoic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid.

You can also check out our website as we offer an extensive line of safe and proven effective whitening line, made for your specific skin needs. All products are dermatologist-tested and BFAD approved.

Results will be much faster if you use whitening soap, creams and lotions regularly. Licorice and arbutin are recommended for very sensitive skin types.

Reply:try fair and lovely

it works
Reply:I don't know why you're so afraid to look darker. It's not unusual, and a lot of people think it's beautiful. Just look at all the black supermodels on tv.

Anyway, your skin is getting darker because you have a lot of the brown type of melanin in your skin. Your body produces more of it when you are in the sun a lot to protect you from skin cancer. If you don't want to look dark, try only swimming at indoor meets and staying away from sunlight. Sound irrational? It is.
Reply:wow DG us beaners have the same problem also dont get so offensive, just eat a rib and relax.
Reply:try sunless dile tanners so that you can chose the color you want to be
Reply:I'm willing to help. If you go here I answered this person with a list of lightening/brightening products.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...
Reply:I'm Asian and I have the same problem as you. There's only one way to get your face whiter, and that's to use whitening masks and whitening products. Shiseido WhiteLucent cleanser, toner and moisturiser is GREAT for whitening, and for me, I could see the results in about 10 days after I started using it. Also, you could try using a sunblock product from Asia. Asians want to stay whiter and generally their sunblocks have more ingredients in it to whiten the skin and stop the skin from tanning. You should try www.sasa.com and look for whitening products there.

Also to clarify one point, it might just be a coincidence with those professional swimmers that they don't use sunblock and don't get dark, but in actual fact, most sunblocks aren't very effective in preventing sunburn, but they do stop the sun's ray's from increasing melanin in the skin - the more melanin in the skin the darker it is. So, in actual fact, using sunblock should stop you from getting darker.
Reply:You can try these home remedies to remove tan %26amp; lighten skin:

Mix 1 table spoon of milk powder, 1 table spoon of honey, 1 table spoon of lemon juice, and ½ table spoon of almond oil. Apply on face and wash off after 10-15 minutes. This pack helps bring shine to the skin and also removes tan.

Mix oatmeal with curd and tomato juice and apply on the face. Keep it on for 20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. It helps remove the tan and lightens the skin.

Place sliced raw potato on the face. It helps reduce blemishes and other marks.

Applying turmeric powder along with lime juice removes the tan. Lime juice is natural bleach.

Dried orange peels mixed with curd also help reduce blemishes and scars. Wash off this mixture with cold water after 15 minutes.

Soak 4 almonds overnight. Grind into a fine paste using milk. Apply on face and neck and leave it overnight. Wash with cold water in the morning. Do this daily for 15 days, followed by twice a week.

A table spoon of gram flour mixed with 2 table spoon of raw milk and 2-3 drops of lime juice works well for lightening dark skin. Apply this mixture and leave it for 15 minutes before washing off. Repeat for 4 weeks and follow up with once a week.

Apply a paste of fresh ground mint leaves and leave it for about 20 minutes. Wash with cold water, continue for 15 days.

Apply a mixture of grated tomato with 2-3 drops of lime juice on the face. Leave it for 20 minutes before washing off. Do this twice a day for 15-20 days for best results.

HELP! Accidently scratched some skin off while popping a zit!?
clean it and apply neosporin
Reply:i would disinfect it, not alot just use a q-tip and a bit of alcohol and then apply neosporine dont touch it now!
Reply:Clean it with alcohol rub. Also, be sure not to keep touching it, otherwise it could get infected.
Reply:Gee, if I was you, I'd panic - not.

Your body will heal itself. Don't worry about it. If you put some Neosporin and a band-aid on it, it will heal faster.

Super Glue on my skin....?

I was at school and somebody had a nickel. On the nickel was super glue. They stuck it on my shirt. I pulled it off a second later. It got stuck to my skin quickly. But now, I've got a scar on my arm and an ugly stain on my shirt. What should I do?

Nail polish remover takes off superglue. And report that nasty prank to your principal.

Is there supposed to be hardened skin around the tounge piercing three weeks into healing time?

Ok, i just got my tounge pierced exactly three weeks ago from today, and i'm assuming it's already healing or close to complete healing; but maybe the second week of the healing process my skin started to rise up around the bar (not the ball) and the skin is pretty much hardened. Is this normal? People tell me it's just sort of like a scab or callus or something and it may fall off later. Just as a simple scab would off of a normal wound... But, I'm not sure what to believe. It doesn't hurt, though... So, any advice would be very appreciated. :]

Is there supposed to be hardened skin around the tounge piercing three weeks into healing time?
sounds like scar tissue. best thing is not to play with the piercing during the healing process as this aggrivates it and encourages scar tissue growth. it will go down eventually though. read http://www.bmezine.com for more information
Reply:Yeah your tongue will swell and hard slightly, however your tongue doesnt completey heal (hole stay open without tongue bar) for around a year, but it is safe to change it after a month. Pitty i let mine close up :(
Reply:Mine did weep slightly when i had it done...you will get a lump around the bar (if you put two fingers above tongue and thumb under you should feel it) when this goes down you should be able to get the bar changed.

If your worried i would go back to where you had it done and ask the guys there-better to be sat than sorry!

Dark skin in neck and underarms after pregnancy?? Help?

Its been a year since ive had my second son, now im stuck with dark skin in my neck and under my arms.. please help

Dark skin in neck and underarms after pregnancy?? Help?
maybe try natural lightening products like lime or lemon juice, sour cream or yoghurt, cucumber. I mean, apply them regularly on the skin surface following with good moisturizer. I'm 5 months after childbirth, and my dark line down the belly is still there... not so much seen, though... but I just know that some pregnancy pigmentation never goes completely, can only fade little bit...
Reply:Pls get in touch with your primary care dr or OB/GYN to have this checked out as this does not sound normal.
Reply:Unfortunately hormones during pregnancy or from birth control pills can result in darkening patches of skin.. on the face / neck area and other sensitive areas (like armpits) is most common.

The darkened skin will fade over time and there are prescription skin-lightening creams out there that will lighten the patches. (Although the creams are volatile and often have nasty side effects)

Go see your dermatologist, they'll be able to reccommend a solution to you if you are really very bothered badly by the darkened skin.

Or you could see it as mark of being a woman / mother! :)

Either way,

good luck!

Help !! i have extremely extremely extremely oily skin....:((?

even the slightest amount of make-up comes off within seconds of application and my skin always appears dull and black and lifeless. My face looks extremely sticky everytime. Plz help

Help !! i have extremely extremely extremely oily skin....:((?
If you have oily skin and it is with pimples you can use a neem face pack. also you can use upton powder with sandal wood powder as they both draw out oils from pores. Rosewater is also an astringent. These things will help brighten up your skin.

But most import is your diet. Do you eat oily foods? The oils have to escape some where.

That could be one of the factors of your make- up disappearing. Also make sure that your make-up is oil free.

And if your skin is becoming dark, you have your own natural suntan oil. So cut back on oil that you eat.
Reply:Use Dove international soap or pears oil control face wash.

Reply:You may need to go Make up free. I can't wear make up everyday. My skin is extremely oily, and it ends up looking like I'm wearing pudding on my face. Every once in a while is OK, but daily really hurts my skin.

Also, try cleaners for oily skin. I use Panoxyl soap, and microdermabrasion two times a week, to renew my skin. This may help.
Reply:regularly wash face wit luke warm water before applying any make up..
Reply:You must watch your face using ponds face wash or similar face wash. It will help to remove oily skin. Please watch three to four times so that your skin remain clean.

2-wash your face every night with baby soap

3-Buy an over the counter face wash to help

4-dont take real hot showers or they'll open your pores

5-don't pick at any acne

6-try not to wear make up every day and when ya do not a lot

7-damp your face and put toothpaste on and leave it on for five min.

Does ringworm damage skin?

I've had a quarter-sized bit of ringworm on my shoulder since the 24th of December. I've been cleaning and treating it daily with a cream like Tinactin and it's been slowly getting better, I guess. It's still pink and the same size, but the swelling, flaking and itching has all subsided immensely. It has looked the same for a few days.

I have no clue where I got it! None of our pets have it, no one in my family does, and none of my friends have it. I did get new clothes for the holiday, and that's the closest I've come to an explanation.

I've read that it will take about 4 weeks to get rid of this thing, so I wasn't too concerned until another smaller one showed up on the same arm, only around my elbow. I treated it right away and it seemed to heal ten times as quickly when I changed the bandage today.

This is my real question: due to how fast the second one healed, I am concerned about skin damage in the first spot. What can ringworm do to my skin, despite proper treatment? Thanks!

Does ringworm damage skin?
Despite its name, ringworm is not a parasite that transfers from your pet or family member to you, but a fungus. It's similar to the fungus that causes athlete's foot. If it's untreated it can get spread. My hubby had it on his nose, and ignored it; ultimately his entire head was covered with the rash.

As with most rashes, if you leave them alone, your skin will heal without a scar.

The second rash on your elbow may have been a sympathetic reaction, which sometimes happens with ringworm, where the skin breaks out but no actual fungus is present. That could be why it healed so fast.

Ringworm can be very resistant to treatment; you might want to try a cream with a different active ingredient and see if it is more effective.

My hubby ended up having to take an oral medication, and got his picture in a medical textbook! Once it cleared up, though, you would never know he had had such an awful rash.

Skin Problems??

I am in my second trimester of pregnancy now and my skin has broken out horribly! It has gone from bad to worse. Now it isn't not just my face breaking out it is every where! My back, neck even chest- I know gross. ANy one have any ideas??

Skin Problems??
This is what I suggest and no I did not just copy and paste this from some random website, I have actually tried all of this and yes, it works amazingly great =]

1. Do you have oily/combination or dry/flaky skin?

-For oily/combination. Use a 3 step system such as AcneFree, Clinique, or Proactive. Salicylic acid seems the best for oily/combination skin because it's stronger but it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry. I use Clinique 3 step system (I bought it two months ago) and I am seeing great results as such for the oily skin and my mild acne.

-For dry/flaky skin. I suggest you use benzoyl peroxide, its much gentler for drier skin and will leave your skin feeling moisturized and smooth. Also use SPF moistruizer everyday after cleansing and toning your skin.

2. Use a honey and banana mask 2-3 times a week. Take a little bit of honey and little peices of banana and massage it all together on your face, let it tighten yoru skin for 10 minutes, then risne off with luke warm water and then cold water. It will help prevent breakouts from occuring. After you rinse tha toff, take some clean and clear persa gel 10 (works great!) and dab a little on the pimples/zits you have. Do thsi before going to bed, next morning, rinse off and I swear your skin will feel and look amazing.

3. Do not eat much junk food (its ok to eat every once in awhile but not so much) because base from ym epxerince, I brokeout a lot from greasy foods like pizza, burgers, chips, soda, etc.

4. For bacne, I suggest scrubing your back every morning and night with Netruogena acne body wash. I use to use it and it works failry good, you will notice results in a week ro two.
Reply:you need to see your doctor , unfortunately it sounds like you have acne , it could be due to hormones in pregnancy , it might just be that you have to ride this one out ! use gentle hypo allergenic products , avoid harsh ones as it will only make your skin worse , and try not to wear make up as this will clog your pores further , enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and congratulations on the baby !

Why my skin turns from healthy to dull frequently?

i quit smoking ,the second week i started hving this healthy skin and in third week back to dull skin again ...why like that ? i haven't started smoking again

Why my skin turns from healthy to dull frequently?
Your body is still pushing toxins out and that may be showing up in your skin. Use a light exfoliating scrub and then moistureize afterward this will help to bring out that fresh look. Dont want to be caught bying chick products? Try this

1/4 Cup brown sugar

2 Tablespoons Olive oil

1 teaspoon vanilla

it makes a nice scrub that smells great. lightly massage your face with the mix or another scrub, rinse and wash with a mild soap then make sure you moisturize because all this will dry your skin a little but it takes off the dead skin cells making you look more fresh.

Bleeding didn't break my skin?

A coupld of weeks ago, I stubbed my finger on a desk. I looked at it and it seemed like it had started to bleed. The only problem is that hitting th desk didn't break my skin, so I bled for a second and it stopped. The spot of blood is still there. It's really annoying to look at, is there any way I coul dget this blood stain to go away? Or is it just going to 'heal over time'? It doesn't hurt or anything, it just looks as though I pricked myself with a pin.

Bleeding didn't break my skin?
Bleeding under the skin isnt uncommon. Its just busted cappillaries. It will fade soon.
Reply:It most definitely did fade today. :D Report It

Reply:just leave it be =you broke a small vein and in time it will heal
Reply:a long time ago in a galaxy far away we used to call them "blood blisters". They go away in time.
Reply:that happens to me all the time if u leave it the way it is, it will take a while to go away but if u poke it with a sterile needle the blood will come out and u'll be good

Is a GOLD FACIAL good for DRY skin?

I used to have a combination skin about a month back, but then i started with my bridal package and God knows what scrub she used on my face, my skin suddenly turned dry and started pealing, she used some scrub and then gave me a papaya facial. Well when my skin started pealing a very alarmed me went back to my beautician and she told me to use a moisturiser for veryyy dry skin and a creme called boreline, which helped me and my skin is back to normal. But today when i went for my second facial, she told me 'cos my skin is dry now, i can not have a gold facial and should go for something called OXY 3 or something like that. Now I don't know if she is right when she says gold facial is not good for my skin anymore, or is she just trying to get the extra 700 bucks from me after the 5000 she has already charged me for my bridal package. HELP plss, should I go for this new OXY facial or should I just tell her I want a Gold facial. What should I do?

Is a GOLD FACIAL good for DRY skin?
Gold facial is really good but people think doing facial would make you look fairer and beautiful.....in ancient days our grannies would wear gold on every part of the body because gold has a wonderful reaction on the body....
Reply:Gold facial is really effective ....

but every one think Gold facial would make you look fairer and beautiful.....

i also used gold facial........my skin is also Dry and whitish

Ok, your beautician sounds like an idiot - don't pay her another penny!

There is a very simple method for dealing with your dry skin!...

Rinse your face with water and don't dry it. Then get some Tomato Ketchup (Heinz works best) and rub it into the dry areas. Leave the ketchup on your face until it hardens (generally around 1hour) and then wash off with warm water. Do this every night and within one week you will have beautiful skin!
Reply:You should probably ask someone more professional not on Yahoo Answers.

For dry skin, urgggg I hate it when that happens.

When my skin peels off I just use a cream CLEANSER and I put cocoa butter on my face.

it will go away don't worry and complain to your beautician that your face got extremely dry after the facial!

How can I keep my skin moisturized after I'm in the pool?

Naturally, my skin is somewhat oily, my the second i go into the pool with chlorine, my skin completely dries out. I've tried moisturisers and such... but nothing seems to be working. HELP?

How can I keep my skin moisturized after I'm in the pool?
Aloe Vera gel.

It's usually cheap so you can use it all over.
Reply:Try water proof lotions.
Reply:use moisturizer.
Reply:put on suntan lotion duh
Reply:Try Neutrogena body oil it is the best, keeps my skin glistening plus it smells so good!
Reply:I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!!

I just get Lubriderm, the kind with coco butter. its not ecpensive and can be found at wal-mart or winn-dixie. I KNOW this will help you because it does for me.

O and for the girl above. suntan lotion does not necessarily keep you moisturized... actually, barely any suntan lotion does........DUH!!!!
Reply:get some oil-free lotion, they sell some good lotion at lord and taylor's
Reply:body CREAM - something heavier than just lotion. Anything with aloe vera is always good, but i found a few things that i really dig.

From "The Body Shop" - they have body butters, made from oils found in different nuts. Its called nut butter, and it comes in like a round jar. Its thicker than lotion, but i use it after being at the beach or by the pool.... the oils in it work great....
Reply:i have the same prob so i use lotion a lot or aloe vera gel.
Reply:try nivea, pure moisture...i usually have dry skin especially when i get out of the pool....sometimes i use lotions but 5 hours later my skin is dry again ...but since i started using nivea everything became perfect..it last all day with no oilyness or sweatiness
Reply:try cleaning it first with a facial cleanser and THEN use a moisturizer
Reply:try using CUREL for extremly dry skin. Make sure its unscented and noncolored. Also works great for peeling skin from sunburn or tattoos.
Reply:try dove body soap and you can also use a little baby oil it will not stay oily it will soften your skin

Husband's sensitive skin?

My husband has very sensitive skin and following shaving (usually every second day), he breaks out in a really sore raxor burn type of rash. He showers before shaving so his skin is more relaxed. Can you offer some great pointers and tips for avoiding this painful rash?? His raxor blades also isn't the problem as they are changed frequently.

Husband's sensitive skin?
I've found the perfect solution. Massage thoroughly with olive oil which is very beneficial to the skin and will heal the razor burn. Then before shaving apply oil and instead of using shaving creams - many of which contain harsh chemicals and are not good for the skin - and a waste of money, simply apply a body lotion on top of the oil and this will properly lubricate the skin and he you will get the best shave he could ever have and with no razor burn. Since using on my very sensitive skin even if I do cut myself it heals really quick. You do not need after shave products many of which also have harmful ingredients and are not good for the skin and a waste of money. You do not need to remove oil - in any case most gets absorbed into skin. Simply lightly wash off body lotion with water and a little soap and dry. Even if I shave against the "grain" of the hair growth I do not get razor burn. Try it - you will be happy that you did. Of course you should not apply too much pressure while shaving and avoid shaving against the ‘grain’ of the hair growth until the burn has healed..
Reply:try to apply some vaseline before so skins soft but not to greasy where he cant shave it, ummm try nair see if that would work i know its not shaving but it may help him on the whole rash thing
Reply:My husband always had razor burn after shaving! My husband shave while he's in the shower and has been using Arbonne shaving cream and face wash I bought him the whole set but that those are the only two thing he uses! But he love the shaving cream and his face and stubble has never been softer! I love it too!

When getting you ear peirced does it realy only hurt bad for a split second?

i just mean a regular barbell not to big. just a peircing.

does it hurt for a long time? or for only the split second that it peirces through the skin?

When getting you ear peirced does it realy only hurt bad for a split second?
Do you mean ear as in lobe piercings?

Mine didn't hurt much at all.. it may be sore for a few days after you get it pierced though.

Of course, pain differs from person to person. It may have hurt a ton for one person, but not at all for the next.
Reply:It hurts the most when the needle pierces the skin.

That's not to say it won't hurt a little for the next week or so.
Reply:it hurts when you first get it pierced. for me it hurt for about 10 seconds and then i felt fine. i was seven years old and it didn't make me cry. But then it gets sore until it heals. it hurt to sleep with the side of my head against a pillow so i learned to sleep on my back
Reply:maybe you should try it.maybe a day
Reply:split second
Reply:It's like a pinch for all of a second, and then for maybe a week afterwards it's sore.
Reply:I have mine done three times. the first two i don't remember. the third i did myself. didn't hurt for too long. make sure to keep your piercings clean.
Reply:no it doesn't hurt. My aunt acctualy put a needle through my ear when i was 4 or 5 so i get to have a pierce.
Reply:It does for a bit, but the healing is more uncomfortable than anything.
Reply:it aches a tiny bit after but nothing tooooooo bad.
Reply:It depends on your pain tolerance.

For the most part it will hurt with the needle piercing the skin, but you will also feel after pain as well. I always find that the after effects are much worse than the actual piercing.
Reply:i got my ears pierced about a year ago and i still remember it.

not the pain of course.

i thought it was going to hurt,

but surprisingly, it didn't .

the tool they use now resembles a stapler.

it puts the front and back of the earring together and pierce you ear in a split second.

it doesn't hurt, but the sound of the tool may scare you.

and after you get one ear pierced, the other is fine.

just make sure you clean it 3 times a day after you get it pierced so you don't it get infected.

good luck !
Reply:Piece of cake! It just feels like a pinch and then it feels hot. Its a little hard to sleep afterwards though, or talk on the phone..but if nothing touches your ear afterwards it doesn't hurt at all.

Messenger Skin?

Installed Messenger 8 and can't change the Skin. I've tried changing it in two ways and neither have worked. First I tried clicking Messenger--%26gt;Change Skin (that method didn't work). Second I tried clicking Messenger--%26gt;Preference--%26gt;Appearence--%26gt;Ch... Skin (this also failed to work). And yes I've restarted both Messenger and my PC. Please is there anything else I can do to try to change the skin.

Messenger Skin?
As you have tried everything but failed, now you can uninstall the messenger and reinstall it (after rebooting).

I hope this time it will work for you.
Reply:i have the exact same problem...uninstalling does not help. i do not have any enchancement program like Blinds ause i use windows 98

any other possible solutions?? Report It

Reply:kins come with the download of the Yahoo Messenger and can find it as follows.

.If you go to your messenger, then Messenger %26gt;%26gt;Preferences %26gt;%26gt;Appearance %26gt;%26gt;Messenger Interface Style and click on Change Skins button,

You can download a new skin from:

This folder may change depending on installation folder and locale settings.

This also helps.

Go for removal of history of items on your search bar

On the right side of the bar before you get to the web search button click on the bar (you may have to click it a few times) will open a drop down box that will bring you at the front of items you searched for.

Place your mouse pointer over the first item and you will see it highlight. Do not click the item just leave your mouse where it is and hit the delete button on your keyboard. The item will vanish and the next will take its place and become highlighted. Just keep hitting the delete button and watch them go away.

This will work for any browser.

To delete address bar history, follow this path. Tools%26gt; internet options%26gt; general %26gt; clear history %26gt; set the number of days to zero%26gt; ok.

Are you using window blinds or alien guise or some other window enhancement program? e.g. programs that add extra buttons like transparency and keep always on top or change the look of the windows in anyway (not including standard XP themes)

if so disable it and yahoo should work..

Do a search on <>http://www.wackyb.com%26gt; for window blinds

Are you ever prejudiced based on the color of someones skin or their race??

just curious. i love this show Without Prejudice and i was just like wow okay a question! so if you see a black person do you make any judgments based SOLELY on the fact that they're black? white ppl? and so on...or if you meet a black, asian, or hispanic person do you judge them based on whether or not they are dark/light skinned with ethnic/non ethnic features??

personally i think people who do this are extremely ignorant but you know thats just me. maybe because ive been exposed to diverse environments and different cultures its never been second nature to judge based on skin tone. i choose to judge based on character and behavior. im black too so i wouldnt want anyone judging me like that even though im sure they do.

Are you ever prejudiced based on the color of someones skin or their race??
no not at all

It is true that when you look at a person you notice the color of their skin just as plainly as you notice the color of their hair or the color of the shirt their wearing, that shouldn't mean anything.

I'm more of a first impression kind of guy. as long as you don't come off as an a**hole I'll spend a little more time getting to know ya.
Reply:never
Reply:at times, yes, because of my personal experinces with people

of different races and cultures.
Reply:No, I don't think so. But there are occasions when that person has done something and I've said to myself, "Figures, they're ___."
Reply:Everyone has prejusdices-it is human nature. It is when we put that into action and we discriminate that is wrong. It is up to us to catch our own predjuices and keep an open mind. Of course there are people who do not want to believe their idea of a race or religion is wrong because that would mean they have to admit they are wrong, but bascially Humans are made to have prejudices-it is a survivial instinc that we have to overcome.
Reply:no i don't..i agree with you..people who do that are very ignorant..and obviously not well educated...but i think there are always going to be some people out there who are always going to be racist..even though our society has gotten a little better over the years..its still pretty bad i would say..which i think it pretty sad. =/

~daisy
Reply:people assume i am white and make stupid racist/ethnic comments to me all the time. oddly enough i also pass for latin in most latin communities and i speak spanish but they never talk the smack anglos do. i think anglo assumed superiority makes up a large part of it -- they think they are better because of their skin color so they say messed up junk to try to support and reinforce their lame beliefs.

i guess that really doesn't answer your question -- just thought i would interject some personal observation. fyi i am slov/manouche mix and think most people are stupid no matter what color they are -- the older i get the more i realize the world was always trying to put me down for just about anything to put themselves up. lesson learned.

ugh i just read where "everyone has prejudices" -- what a sad reflection on our education system. everyone should be discerning -- you don't date a career felon unless that is what makes you hot. nobody has to be prejudiced.
Reply:I find the older the person is, the more they will prejudge someone without knowing them.

I hope that as time goes by, the more this will go away. They learned their ways when they were younger when they lived in a different world-- but things have changed.
Reply:Riddle me this. If you were at an ATM late at night -- and someone came up right behind you. Would you rather have it be a 19 year old black male wearing a bandana or a 10 year old girl in a girl scout uniform.

Be honest. Are you really going to react the same way, given the fact that you know absolutely nothing about either one of them?

Also, if the woman at the ATM pulled her purse in and worriedly scuttled out of there...would you say she is racist or prejudiced? Someone who is behaving irrationally?

I don't think people really get this. Sure, being a black male age 19 doesn't automatically make you a robber. However, what if I told you now that most -robbers- happen to be black males that are age 19? Does that make the woman's actions any more justifiable?

I don't know if any of this is true necessarily--about black males age 19 and robbery -- this is just a hypothetical I created. you can substitute other groups and activities in different situations.

For example, most muslims in the US are not terrorists. But most terrorists in the US are muslims. If we are to combat terrorism, should we -completely ignore- the profile of what a terrorist is, and investigate the 80 year old lady from Arizona with the same vigor as the middle aged Arab in a full Islamic garb? If we only have the resources to randomly screen 1 in every 1000 passengers; should we really hit all of the races equally? Or would it be more prudent to focus on the ones that best fit the profile of a terrorist?

If the police have a report that a suspect is a Mexican male, and they have set up a roadblock, do they really need to bother questioning the truck full of Jamaicans?

Just some thoughts from the mind. Not meant to pick on any particular group, but to stimulate discussion.
