Skin Specialists?

Can anyone recommend any online skin specialists which i could email? I am using tea tree skincare but i am still getting the same amount of spots and scars. I also have to shave every second day. Is water ok to use or should i stick to tea tree.

Reply:Would suggest you try Dermalogica products. I had really bad spots around my jawline and neck and went to a beauty therapist, who recommended Dermalogica. You can purchase online at www.youbeauty.net and they are quite alot cheaper than buying on the high street. I think that you can e-mail for advice. I haven't had to use tea tree oil since I changed to these products.

They do mens travel packs for about £16, would suggest you try this as a start since it should have all you need. They also do travel packs for acne prone skin if it is really bad!Good luck
Reply:Go to your GP and asked to be referred to a specialist dermatologist. For shaving I'd recommend an oil as opposed to a foam/gel, such as Somersets. That has tee tree oil in it. If your spots are really bad, they may advise Roaccutane - but question your GP carefully, it does have some side effects.
Reply:I am a qualified beautician (and medical nurse) and I would not want to comment on your (or anyone else' for that matter) skin without seeing it first! It is not the sort of thing that you can do online. You will really have to find a local, qualified, skin care specialist and let them take a proper look. Even so, any beautician worth their salt, would probably refer you to a GP or Dermatologist if you have persistant spots and scars (especially scars)
