HELP! My skin in super dry, what can i do?
Ponds moisturizing lotion is awesome for really dry skin; it's really thick, but won't cause pimples. I always switch to it this time of year.
Reply:drink water!
Reply:Jergens works wonders
Reply:Olive oil before take a shower and after
Reply:My daughter has super dry skin with bumps. The only thing that gets rid of the dryness is eucerin cream in the tub. It is like a thick paste that takes forever to rub in, but it works miracles!! I absolutely love it.
Reply:Try an oily bath, like Avon skin-so-soft or caster oil, which you can get from the chemists. I used it to prevent stretch marks when pregnant. Brilliant stuff!
Reply:E45 cream
Reply:for hands, buy some thin, soft gloves. put a lot of lotion on your hands so that there's a little that isn't soaking in and put the gloves on. if you do this every night your hands should get better within about 5 days. if your face is dry in general, then i'm not sure what, but they probably have some sort of mositurizing masks or something ( lol idk..) but for a few spots on your face, dab a little cream on your finger and apply it to your face, making sure you don't rub hard enough for it all to soak in. once again, after a few nights it should improve.
Reply:There can be metabolic causes such as hypothyroidism, zinc deficiency or one of the most common in the western diet is a lack of Omega 3. Adding Omega 3 foods and supplements can make a big difference. Drinking plenty of water helps as well as staying away from chlorinated water and most soaps which both dry the skin. When topical skin treatments don't help much there is usually an underlying cause.
