When getting you ear peirced does it realy only hurt bad for a split second?

i just mean a regular barbell not to big. just a peircing.





does it hurt for a long time? or for only the split second that it peirces through the skin?

Do you mean ear as in lobe piercings?


Mine didn't hurt much at all.. it may be sore for a few days after you get it pierced though.





Of course, pain differs from person to person. It may have hurt a ton for one person, but not at all for the next.

That's not to say it won't hurt a little for the next week or so.
Reply:it hurts when you first get it pierced. for me it hurt for about 10 seconds and then i felt fine. i was seven years old and it didn't make me cry. But then it gets sore until it heals. it hurt to sleep with the side of my head against a pillow so i learned to sleep on my back

Reply:I have mine done three times. the first two i don't remember. the third i did myself. didn't hurt for too long. make sure to keep your piercings clean.
Reply:no it doesn't hurt. My aunt acctualy put a needle through my ear when i was 4 or 5 so i get to have a pierce.

For the most part it will hurt with the needle piercing the skin, but you will also feel after pain as well. I always find that the after effects are much worse than the actual piercing.

but surprisingly, it didn't .


the tool they use now resembles a stapler.


it puts the front and back of the earring together and pierce you ear in a split second.


it doesn't hurt, but the sound of the tool may scare you.


and after you get one ear pierced, the other is fine.


just make sure you clean it 3 times a day after you get it pierced so you don't it get infected.

Reply:Piece of cake! It just feels like a pinch and then it feels hot. Its a little hard to sleep afterwards though, or talk on the phone..but if nothing touches your ear afterwards it doesn't hurt at all.
