Sensitive skin, how do I get a clean shave everyday?

How do I get a clean shave everyday? I have sensitive skin and I have to shave once every four days when my facial hair grows long enough. The only problem is on the second and third day or so I look really scruffy and bummish when I am shooting to be a clean cut immaculate person on a regular basis. If I were to shave on the second day also, my skin gets completely shredded up and the cuts scab up and it doesn't look very presentable. Are there any razors you guys reccomend like the single blade knife razors? Please do not say mach 3, because I have one.

Peace, thank you,

Your razor really doesn't matter so much, as long as it isn't of inferior quality. I also use a Mach 3, and it works well enough.

The next time you shave, try doing it in the shower, with hair conditioner. Your shave will be a lot smoother. If that doesn't work to your satisfaction, try looking for a shaving creme or gel formulated for sensitive skin.

Resort to women's shaving creme, if you must- sure, it would be hard to explain to anyone who saw it, but a lot of women seem to think that they have very delicate skin, so naturally there's a slew of products pandering to them- such as special shaving cremes.
Reply:Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.

Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.
Reply:Ive had problems like this as well. Some people prefer to use hot water when shaving because it relaxes the hari folicles and allows them to be cut easier. I don't believe that at all and I end up getting more nicks from that. I have tried everything to keep a close and smooth shave without getting my face irritated. The best method I have is to use cold water. It makes the hairs stand up straight and easy to cut off because they dont move as much. This also gets a closer shave and means you wont need to shave as much. As far as the shaving cream you use...stay away from gels it clogs up the razor more and means you have to take more passes to get all the hairs. I have always had horrible results with gel. Use a light cream or conditioner to shave with. Also you can get intimate shave gel (for shaving genitals) from the net which is super lubricated and can get the closest shave with the smoothest feeling results. Since its made for shaving down below you will very rarely cause irritation when using it.
